Synopsis: The eccentric scientist laughed Okabe has an endless thirst for scientific exploitation. Together with his friend Ditzy, but well-meaning, Mayuri Shiina and his roommate Ittaru Hashida, Ringarou finds Gadget's future lab in the hope of creating technological innovations that confuse the human psyche. Despite the claims of grandeur, the only remarkable "gadget" that the trio created is a microwave that has the power mixed of turning bananas into green Gosma.

However, when Ritarou decides to participate in the conference of neuroscientist Kurisu Makise on time travel, he experiences a series of strange events that led him to believe that there is more in the "microwave" gadget by phone. Apparently, capable of sending text messages to the past using the microwave, laughing has been involved with the "time machine", attracting the anger and attention of the mysterious organization.

Due to the new discovery, he laughed and his friends are in an ever -present danger. As he works to mitigate the damage that his invention has caused the timeline, he is not only waging a battle to save his loved ones, but also one against his degrading health.

Summary and Events

At the end of Steins's manga and light novel; Gate, Okabe manages to save Kurisu and avoid the timeline she dies. He can also save Mayuri, his childhood friend, who had died in other lines of time. However, Okabe needs to sacrifice himself to make it happen and ends up trapped in an alternative timeline, where Kurisu is alive, but Mayuri and his friend Suzuha never knew him. The end is bittersweet, but it shows that Okabe managed to save the people he loves.
