Synopsis: Anita King, Maggie Má and Michelle Cheung are the paper sisters. They manage the detective agency three sisters in Hong Kong, dedicated to the resolution of cases involving books. They are hired as local guides for Nenene Sumiregawa, a Japanese novelist who has fought with the writer's block after the disappearance of his longtime friend Yomiko Rean. The sisters are all masters of paper - individual with the power to control the article - and with their skills, save Nenene from dangerous terrorists who aim at a book signature. But if they attack again, the sisters remain guarded to protect it from more damage.
This is a dream come true for Maggie and Michelle's book falls who love Nenene's stories, but young Anita can't stand books despite her powers about the role. The three struggle to adapt to their new daily life in Japan, keeping Nenene as she continued her detective work under a mysterious organization, Dokusensha. However, the more they know Nenene, the more they discover the bond between her, the disappearance of her friend Yomiko, and the mysterious Dokusensha books sends the paper masters to investigate. What started as a simple work ends up a larger case than ever. Are these girls really willing to risk their lives by literature?
