Mashiro no Oto

Synopsis: Setsu Sawamura runs away from his small origin village after the death of his grandfather, legendary master shamisen matured Sawamura. On his deathbed, Matsugori told Setsu to give up the Shamisen if he would only imitate others instead of playing in his own way. Setsu goes to Tokyo, hoping that the big city will be able to inspire him to discover his own unique game style. But Tokyo challenges his expectations, drowning all the other sounds with the deafening noise of his life in the city.
Concerned about her son, rich and successful mother of Setsu, Umeko, returns to her life and forces him to enroll in the Umezono Academy. At school, he meets Shuri Maeda, a girl fascinated by Tsugaru Shamisen and wants to play a song that her grandmother has heard a long time ago. Shuri starts a Shamisen appreciation club and convinces Setsu to teach how to play the instrument. As he gets more involved with the club, can Setsu recover his love for Shamisen and discover the missing sound?
